Our Mother's Day Tribute Show

"A wonderful show ideally suited to an afternoon event for your venue".


This 2024 we are excited to be performing our Elvis Mother's Day show at Gympie RSL


" I Can't Stop Loving You"

What would say "Thank You MUM" more than an afternoon with your mother listening to Elvis songs, and whilst we sing a lot more slower songs than our regular show there will still be plenty of classic Elvis to get up and dance to. In fact we encourage all our audience to get up and enjoy the dance floor all night.


Doug focus's on audience participation with our Mother's Day afternoon show is even more apparent. Normally Doug will hand out a few scarves to some chosen female audience members, however with our Mother's Day show we love to give a Turquoise  Satin Scarf adorned with a Doug Charles Motif and message to every Mum in the room. Doug will also hand out little Teddy Bears to some of the audience as well as one of his rings with a little story to a lucky gentlemen - everyone loves that !!!


This is a fantastic and beautiful afternoon Elvis show that Doug performs and is well suited to clubs, dinner dances and social events as a way of saying ""Thank You Mum"


Doug will set up the stage beautifully with a wonderful Mother's Day backdrop to set the theme for the afternoon's show.


This show is the full Elvis event, with professional hi quality PA, audio and lighting equipment, full backdrop, separate photo backdrop. Doug will perform two 1 hour sets of songs and entertainment plus a 25 minute break with back ground music.


Doug dresses in full Elvis regalia with Jumpsuits, or similar recognised Elvis outfits.   


Vivian, Doug's wife, manager and assistant also dresses in full 50s style dress as part of the show.


Doug is very interactive  and loves to come out during the show and meet the  audience as well as engaging in photo opportunities.


Our Main Elvis Show includes


  • 2 x 60 min sets & 1x 30 minute costume change
  • Two Professionally Recognised Elvis Costumes
  • Scarf give-aways (during "Are You Lonesome Tonight"
  • Small Teddy Bear giveaways (during Teddy Bear)
  • Full Professional PA & Lighting setup
  • Singing all those favourites, some slow classics and of course some great Rock n Roll, so get your dancing shoes on.


Book Early as this will be a SELL OUT SHOW !!

Gympie RSL will be offering lunch prior to the show and dinner after the show in the Atrium Restaurant.


We strongly suggest that you book in advance for lunch or dinner at the Atrium through the RSL,
We will open the doors to the Rhythm Bar from 2:30pm . Seating will be for 100 people and seating will be set up in a theatre style arrangement with a dance floor at the front. We will not be having reserved seating so first in best dressed.


We encourage our patrons to enjoy the dance floor.


Doug Charles will be around from 2:30pm dressed in a pre show Elvis outfit so feel free to come up and ask for photos. There will also be a 50s Diner Photo Wall set up for you to take photos against.


Show Starts 3:00pm - Finishes 5:30pm

Lunch will be from 12:00pm and Dinner from 5:30pm

We have set up the tickets as Mums  and everyone else !!  so that we can organise a free satin Mother's Day  Elvis style scarf for our lovely  mothers as a keepsake.

We are experts in organising events, as part of this show we will supply the following media to the venue


  • Pull up banner highlighting event, time, cost and online ticket purchase.
  • A1 Posters for your venue
  • A4 posters for your venue
  • Professional media promo video for event with your corporate logo for use on social media as well as internal TV
  • We will create a FB event for you to blast
  • We will create a professional E-Commerce Ticketed event with trusted ticket merchant Ticketeboo for patrons to purchase from
  • We will create a web page for your patrons to visit


WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU !


  • We need your members
  • If you have an email list, (which incidentally is the best way to sell tickets) we need you to draft an email ( we can help) regarding our event to send out between 2-3 times prior to show.
  • We need you to put up our banners and posters.
  • We need you to put out severals blasts on social media with our event link and promote our video.
  • We need you to actively promote our event.
