We are proud to present to The Gympie RSL our Premier Show Featuring Neil Diamond & ELVIS Presley Tributes.
Working with the great team at Gympie RSL we have organised to open up the dance floor area as well as the mezzanine space in the Rhythm Bar so that there is plenty of room to dance, hang out, retire to the mezzanine for a little more space and enjoy a full bar across 2 areas .. We are not placing sit down tables due to space constraints but will have plenty of chairs for those wanting to rest their legs for a bit as well as plenty of tall dry bar tables .
Why not before the show grab a bite to eat at the Atrium Bistro upstairs from 5:30 pm onwards and then head down for the show with doors opening at around 6:45 for a 7:00pm show start
Get ready for a great evening of classic hits from
Blue Suede Shoes, Hound Dog, All Shook Up, American Trilogy & Suspicious Minds to name only a few of the many Elvis songs sung by Doug Charles
Followed by our second hour of Neil Diamond Classics such as Crunchy Granola, I'm a Believer, Cracking Rosie, It's a Beautiful Noise to Sweet Caroline,
and finally finished with an Elvis Concert Finale for the last hour taking us to 10pm.

This really is a great 3 Hour double tribute show from 7:00pm - 10:00pm
Doug Charles is a Parkes Elvis Festival (2023) award winning Tribute Artist, Paul McKenna is a seasoned musician and has performed as a Neil Diamond Tribute Artist for years performing at many different event centres and festivals.
Our Diamond and the King Show includes
- A fully set up show with backdrops, lighting, great audio and amazing costumes.
- 3 x 60 min sets so make sure you get your dancing shoes on for a great night of entertainment.

- Set 2 - One Hour - Neil Diamond
- Set 3 - One Hour - Elvis Concert Finale - '69 onwards singing many of those great concert show stoppers

Doug Charles as Elvis
Doug Charles is a professional ETA bringing a high level of energy to his show. Elvis was a great entertainer, a great singer, but more importantly a great showman, from dazzling bejewelled jumpsuits, swinging arm and hip shaking dance moves with the odd Karate Kick thrown in for good measure, and whilst no one can match the King for originality Doug Charles brings many elements of that showmanship to his show and loves to get in with the audience, you never know you may even be lucky enough to receive one the scarves Doug gives out at his show just like Elvis did or even a small teddy bear when he sings "that" song.... you know the one !!!
An Elvis Impersonator or ETA's bring a higher level of entertainment, costumes and music to the audience. They are different to musicians just singing Elvis songs who more often than not, whilst still singing Elvis well, don't dress up and really get into the show.
Great Elvis Impersonators are ETA's. They really take the show to a new level, from specialised hair pieces, jewellery donning the kings fingers, replica jumpsuit costumes that match they very same ones that Elvis wore on stage, to giving away scarves during a slow song and wearing those classic gold or silver framed sunglasses, a big effort is made to ensure you know this is an Elvis Tribute Show and your performer really does channel the kings music.
Doug Charles makes every effort to ensure a great night of entertainment is had by all.
Neil Diamond by Paul McKenna
Paul is an accomplished singer song writer and live guitarist that has been performing for many decades and in recent years has been performing a great Neil Diamond Tribute show singing all those favourites and classics.
Paul now works with Doug Charles as part of the Diamond & The King Show.
